Betty has been living at Terracina Grand, a senior living community in Naples, Florida, since 2006. “I can’t find a better way of saying that I am just content here,” says Betty. “I am so happy.”

The Support of a Community

Betty and her husband moved into Terracina Grand after her husband was diagnosed with dementia. Ever since she moved in, Betty has been active in the community and truly thrives. So even after her husband passed away, she decided to stay as she puts it, at home.

“I have not been in any other home in Naples, but I have no reason to. I count my blessings everyday that this is my home,” says Betty. “I think it’s because of the people. I have such a good rapport with the staff and everyone – it’s just family.”

Betty’s daughter also lives in the area, but Betty relishes having a place of her own. “Give me two hours there and I am ready to come home. Maybe that’s me showing my age,” Betty laughs.
